Is it for you?

Most advice starts with the answer. The audit starts with the evidence.

Someone usually sells you the fix they already had: more marketing, a new CRM, a restructure. The audit looks at what's actually happening first, then names the one or two things holding everything else back.

It's for you if

  • You run an established, owner-led business, usually $1M+ in revenue
  • You have a team, but too much still runs through you
  • You know something is leaking, but not where
  • You want evidence before you spend on a fix

It's not for you if

  • You're a start-up looking for your first customers
  • You want leads without looking at the business behind them
  • You've decided the answer and want it rubber-stamped
What happens

What we look at, and how it runs.

The numbers. Monthly P&L and balance sheet, job margin, labour recovery, debtor days, cash.

Sales. Time to first contact, quote turnaround, follow-up, win rate, and whether won jobs reach the CRM.

People. Who owns what, where the standard lives, single points of failure.

Rhythm. Meetings, reviews, and how decisions move through the business.

  1. Strategy call. About 45 minutes on what you want from the business.
  2. Agreement. Fixed fee, paid before work starts.
  3. Information. Your accountant's monthly reports and system access.
  4. Conversations. With you, then your key people, one at a time.
  5. Findings review. The report and a one-on-one walkthrough.

Most audits take one to four weeks. The biggest variable is how fast the numbers arrive.

What you get

Four things you can act on.

Some owners take the findings and run them with their own team. That's a legitimate outcome, and the report is written so you can. If you want help, ongoing work is scoped from the findings, not sold before them.

  • Findings in plain English: what's working, what's leaking, and why
  • The cost of the gap, in dollars and in your hours
  • The order: what to fix first, and what to leave alone for now
  • Options: a low, moderate and high path, so the next step is your call
What owners found

Two audits, two very different answers.

The bottleneck wasn't leads or staff. It was three leaders with three different pictures of the business.

Questions

Before you book.

Is this a marketing audit?

No. Marketing is one part. Most of the audit is your numbers, your people and how the business runs, because that's what decides whether marketing works.

What do you need from me?

A few hours across the strategy call, the conversations and the findings review, your accountant's monthly reports, and honest answers. We do the rest.

Will you talk to my team?

Yes, if you agree. Separate conversations are often where the most useful findings come from.

Who does the audit?

Our founder and director, Josh Roa, runs every audit personally, from the strategy call to the findings review.

What happens after?

You decide. Run it yourself, or work with us on the parts you choose.
