HOW WE TACKLED THE BRIEF GIVEN TO US
Brief
The Auckland Stopping Company operates in Auckland, New Zealand and specialises in plasterboard supply, installation and GIB Stopping for both residential and commercial clients.
This small business needed a way to generate a predictable volume of qualified leads, without risking it with inexperienced agencies or expensive online directories.
The Authority proposed that rather than pay another company to rank high in search engines, the Auckland Stopping Company put that same money into ranking their own website at the top of Google.
Deliverables
To achieve the results required, The Authority undertook designing and building the lead generation funnel for the Auckland Stopping Company. This included creating a lead tracking system comprising of a sales CRM, analytic call tracking and monthly reporting.
Because of the required investment in R&D and campaign testing, the client agreed to adjust the agreement to a Pay-Per-Lead hybrid with a commission percentage attached. This provided The Authority with a more efficient means of generating leads given the services offered a quite broad but the revenue from commercial projects could be significant.

With the lead generation website working to deliver high quality leads to the business, there is a greater opportunity to expand into other channels (Google Ads, Facebook Messenger & Content Marketing).
This will bring on greater challenges for the Auckland Stopping Company as resources become stretched but the key here is in growing the campaign in a manageable way that doesn’t put unwanted strain on staff – particularly as leads continue to increase each day.
