Brief
Tim Davies Landscaping is a West Australian business specialising in residential and commercial landscaping. With a team of more than 100 staff, they offer end-to-end garden design, landscape construction and maintenance services.
After noticing a decline in enquiry and a lack of support from their existing marketing agency, TDL were eager to turn things around and begin growing, in particular, their residential landscaping business unit. The challenge was in understanding exactly how to do that so the following was recommended by The Authority:

Following the presentation of the digital marketing audit report, it was determined that a more strategic approach to lead generation was required. This would ensure every lead was being tracked to determine the best way to acquire and convert.
The first challenge was defining set milestones to work toward. The second challenge was refining our targeting and acquisition process. To address both of these areas, The Authority worked with TDL to develop and implement the following:
Results
The result of implementing recommendations from the Audit Report is that the company was able to reduce their cost-per-lead by 80%. In addition to that, organic rankings have consistently increased, enabling the company to meet aggressive lead estimates based on budget requirements.
A critical component to this was clarifying the company’s fundamental understanding of who the target audience was and how they should communicate with them. This was identified in the content marketing strategy and is a critical component of their on-going marketing (article, social media and email).
The next phase of the marketing campaign for Tim Davies Landscaping is to expand out to other channels, monitoring engagement and conversion to maintain a positive return on investment.
